2023 (Spring)

Mad Hatter’s Travelling Tea Party (South Devon Railway run)

Acting as The March Hare and The White Rabbit. South Devon Railway, PNP Events. 8 performances.

1 hour.

After Jacob’s performance as the hobo, and Siku the elf, in The Polar Express Train Ride in South Devon last year, Jacob is delighted to be returning again. Jacob plays the White Rabbit and March Hare, and will be performing one of these roles again in the summer.

So grab those teapots, jam tarts and croquet bats for a wonderfully silly show, you just can’t be late for! Battle the Jabberwocky, solve the riddle of the raven and the writing desk, and find those fan and gloves. All aboard!


2022 (November and December)

The Polar Express Train Ride, SDR.

Acting as The Hobo/Elf/Understudy Conductor. South Devon Railway, PNP Events and Warner Bros. 120 performances.

50 minutes.

Based on the timeless classic by Chris Van Allsburg, the film The Polar Express has been capturing the hearts and minds of Children and Adults alike, since it’s release in 2004. The book has been inspiring people for even longer, since it’s publication in 1984. It’s one of Jacob’s favourite Christmas films, and he is so pleased to have been an actor in this great production. And he’s reprising the role for Christmas 2023!


2022 (July and August)

Eternally Rude

Family Comedy stage play, The Winchester Hat Fair, 2 performances

You smell! You imbecilic moronic buffoon! Are you wearing that shirt for a bet?

These are just some of the insults you can hear, from immortal alien Swiggy Mallow.

He's the universe's biggest grump, follow his bemused adventures as he's made it his mission to insult every intelligent being in the universe, alphabetically.

With Swiggy is his only companion, his spaceship's computer, (a slightly melancholic gadget, charged with keeping a database of all the beings Swiggy has insulted).

Jacob Hulland and his comedy ensemble, bring you a family-friendly show packed full of physical comedy, witty commentary, inventive story-telling through puppetry and mime and of course, plenty of science fiction fun.

See Swiggy getting into all sorts of hilarious scrapes and hijinks, in this exciting action and adventure show, it's a masterclass in miffing the entire universe off!

Arriving at Uni, middle-aged 18-year-old Jacob Hulland finds he is anything but a normal student. He has, indeed, entered a dark new world... Hampshire.

Jacob Hulland, winner of the Best in Fringe Youth Award 2016, returns to Shaftesbury with his rib-tickling stand up comedy. From Donald Trump to Thomas the Tank Engine, Michael Parkinson to British prudishness – Jacob Hulland is distracted by many things. Come and lose an hour in Jacob’s comic company.

Absurdities From an Armchair

The 16-year-old winner of Shaftesbury Fringe 2016’s ‘Best in Fringe Youth award’, Jacob returns with his new show, ‘Absurdities from an Armchair’. Discover his views on everything from politics to bear hunts.

It’s Been a Long Week

WON THE SHAFTESBURY FRINGE, BEST IN FRINGE YOUTH AWARD.

Jacob presents, ‘It’s Been a Long Week’, with all the foibles of life we love and hate from overnight supermarkets, to PE teachers, he covers it all. Has already been a hit with Shaftesbury school students and staff.


2015 – Present

Jacob Hulland’s Radio shows

Melksham Town Sound (2015-16), Abbey 104 (2017-18), Sound Radio (2018-20), Abbey 104 (2021-).

Jacob has performed stand-up in Manchester, Shaftesbury and Winchester, as well as writing a very successful radio comedy sketch show called, Never Had it So Good which featured on BBC Radio. His show has plenty of music, plenty of comedy and is ready and is currently airing as, “Hulland’s Half-hour”, and is available to listen to once a month as part of, “The Midway Mark” on Abbey 104.
